ABOUT

I am Rory Free and I was born in Britain and studied animation at Falmouth University. Where I was introduced to stop motion 2D and 3D animation, and the development in pre-production as well as production, Specialising in 2D animation and design.

I have worked as part of a group during my time at Falmouth University, completing briefs for Shelterbox and the Devon and Cornwall police, and recently working on an original short film.

Working primarily as a 2D animator and thanks to my focus on Key framing, Inbetweening, and my inability to know what is overboard, I have become excellent at animated spinning cameras, and I tend to add them where-ever I can. And the only reason they work is because I am able to inbetween them well and understand the layout of the characters and setting in 3D.

My passions rest in drawing and animation, and I have found that I am very happy animating and drawing all day.

I have always enjoyed History, Myths and Legends. You can find many stories of heroes, monsters, and incredibly ridiculous situations that are both interesting and spark my imagination for new story ideas or drawings.
